Supplied in an easy to apply granular form, it can be spread around plants in beds and planters to support soil quality and plant performance.
How This Seaweed Soil Enhancer Works
It helps improve soil structure and increases organic matter. Seaweed contains plant nutrients including nitrogen, potassium, phosphate and magnesium. It is also full of natural hormones that help stimulate plant growth, improve germination and increase yield.
As the seaweed breaks down, it enriches the soil with natural nutrients to support improved plant health.
Seaweed Slug Deterrent Benefit
As a bonus, this seaweed can also deter slugs. The texture feels spiky and uncomfortable to slugs, providing an effective deterrent.
How to Use
Add a layer of seaweed to the top of the soil around your plants in beds or planters. Apply 2 to 3 mm deep around individual plants at least 50 mm wide. Water well and reapply as necessary. Replenish every 3 to 4 weeks or as required.
If using to deter slugs, ensure no leaves are overhanging the seaweed.
