Round garden hoops are available to purchase separately and are ideal for building tunnels that protect plants from pests, frost and disease. They provide a sturdy yet lightweight frame that works with fleece, netting or polythene to cover crops effectively.
Sizes Of Round Garden Hoops
These 19mm hoops are offered in two sizes, small or large, and include clips for securing covers in place. They are simple to install and make a practical solution for shielding crops throughout the growing season.
Large – 1.52m wide × 800mm high (approx. 5ft × 2ft 7in). Minimum cover width: 2.6m. Add 1.6m to the tunnel length when ordering covers to allow for height.
Small – 1.15m wide × 600mm high (approx. 3ft 9in × 2ft). Minimum cover width: 2.1m. Add 1.2m to the tunnel length when ordering covers to allow for height.
Clips And Fixings Included With Hoops
Each hoop comes complete with three clips for fastening fleece or netting securely. For best results, hoops should be spaced at approximately 1m intervals to create a stable and even tunnel structure.
