This A Frame garden structure provides a practical way to protect fruit, vegetables and flowers while they grow. It works as a compact alternative to a traditional vegetable cage and is ideal for covering planted rows in vegetable beds or garden borders.
A Frame Vegetable Cage For Garden Crop Protection
The A shaped design is well suited to protecting one or two rows of crops. It creates a stable frame that can be covered with garden netting to help protect fruit and vegetable plants throughout the growing season.
Suitable For Narrow Vegetable Beds And Garden Rows
The frame can be made in widths ranging from 55cm to 110cm. This makes it useful for protecting smaller fruit and vegetable patches where a full sized fruit cage would be unnecessary. The structure fits neatly over rows of planted crops while remaining easy to position in the garden.
Aluminium Vegetable Cage Frame
The frame uses 1.2 metre aluminium poles to create the A shaped structure. The overall height will vary depending on the width you choose to make the frame and how far the poles are pushed into the soil. For stability, we recommend inserting the poles approximately 20cm into the ground.
Garden Netting Tunnel Length Options
The A Frame is available in several lengths including 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2m and 2.2m. The longer 2m and 2.2m versions are supplied with six uprights, while the smaller sizes include four uprights.
