These Access Value Cold Frames are the perfect size for growing crops directly in the ground. They will provide you with a large area of covered space, protecting your valuable crops from both the weather and from any garden pests. If you’re not using this cold frame as a place to raise vegetables directly in the ground, it’s just as simple to place it onto a patio or other hard ground and use it to raise seedlings or cuttings.

3mm toughened safety glass - is used on all sides and roof of this cold frame. Glass is the best glazing for light transmission and for protecting your plants from frost. Glass glazing also adds to the overall weight of the cold frame, making it extremely stable in high winds. The rigidity of the glass panels also helps prevent the panels from flexing under high snow or wind loads.
Aluminium frame - rust and rot proof, is easier to maintain than a timber frame and is backed by a manufacturer’s 25-year framework guarantee.

Sliding glass panels on front and back- of the cold frame allow you to access all areas of the frame. It makes it simple for you to tend your plants and also allows you to let air circulate in the summer months. With so many sliding panels you are provided with infinitely variable ventilation – you could open them just an inch or so in the spring whilst in the hotter summer months they can be left wider open. In addition, in the summer you could remove the roof panels to keep temperatures down whilst the side panels remain in place to provide wind protection.
