Two internal nuts, sealing washers and connectors to securely fix the 10 inch (25cm) linking pipe supplied between two water butts.
How To Fit
Before drilling, make sure both butts are facing each other with the taps at the front.
The water butts to be connected should be on a level surface and no more than 15 inches / 39cm apart.
The water butts can be connected at the bottom – then the two water butts will fill at the same rate, or if the water butts are connected at the top (as shown) – then the first water butt will be filled to that level and then run over into the second water butt.
Drill a 1 inch / 25mm hole approx. 10 inches / 25cm from the top or the bottom into the opposite sides of the water butts to be connected. Join the water butts together with the supplied hose – push the connector through the washer from the inside of the water butt, then fir and tighten the nut on the outside to form a seal.
