Thermally efficient polycarbonate safety glazing – 4mm thick, this double skinned plastic glazing has an air gap between for effective insulation, helping to keep things warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Glazed on all sides, roof and back, this polycarbonate glazing has good light transmission, giving a soft diffused light which helps to reduce scorching whilst encouraging healthy growth. It is also safe, shatterproof and virtually unbreakable. Being UV protected it has an expected life of at least 10 years.
Excellent access and ventilation – four, sliding front panels (two for the top half of the greenhouse and two for the lower half) easily open and close to allow easy access to all areas so you can reach your plants for maintenance. The roof of the greenhouse is formed from one large, hinged panel that has an aluminium stay on one side to keep the roof securely open for access to your plants or to allow maximum ventilation on hot days.
Complete with mesh shelves – providing valuable surfaces on which to stand trays or pots, these galvanised steel mesh shelves are fixed into the mini greenhouse or can be removed during the season when housing taller plants such as tomatoes. Dependent on the model of greenhouse you purchase will affect the number of shelves you receive.
