With each kit you will receive the following components:
Controller – with integrated solar panel, timer and pump. To use the solar panel to recharge the batteries successfully (three AA rechargeable batteries are included) this unit should be placed in a sunny spot – it can be used free standing, hooked over a pot or attached to a wall. Or you can recharge the batteries using a battery charge (not included) instead.
The controller can be up to 4ft 11in / 1.5m higher than the water reservoir and is powerful enough to deliver water to plants up to 13ft / 4m from the controller.
The watering frequency and amount of water supplied to each dripper can be specified by selecting one of the 14 pre-set watering programmes. You can set to water every 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours, with watering times from just 10 minutes up to 35 minutes depending on the frequency selected.
3/16 inch / 4.6mm Tube – twenty metres of tube is supplied to carry the water from the reservoir to the controller and from the controller to the drip heads. The tube is easy to cut using a pair of scissors and securely fits to both the drippers and T Connectors which have barbed fittings.
3/16 inch / 4.6mm Tube Pegs – eight pegs are included to help you to anchor the place and is especially useful when curving the tube from one plant pot to another.
Filter – fitting to the end of the tube to prevent it from becoming blocked. It is this end of the tube, with filter attached, which should be dropped into your water reservoir. You can use any type of watertight container to act as your reservoir – from a bucket to a water butt, as long as the head of water is no greater than 4ft 11in / 1.5m.
3/16 inch / 4.6mm T Connectors – eight connectors are included to enable you to branch and route the tube to reach of your plants.
Inline Drip Heads – twenty pressure equalising, 0.5 ltr drip heads are included. You can run the system using a minimum of five drippers up to the complete set of twenty.
3/16 inch / 4.6mm Plugs – eight plugs which will fir securely into the tube to end a run.
