Standard Features and Benefits

Overlap dip treated sheds are constructed from rough sawn boards that overlap each other allowing flexibility and movement and have been finished with a factory applied surface treatment - known as dip treated.

Dip treated products have a colour applied during the manufacture to compensate for the inconsistent natural appearance of British redwoods. This colour is not permanent and will fade over time. To retain the factory finish, treatment should be reapplied regularly. To change the colour, allow the product to mature before applying a proprietary brand.

The sheds in this range are all manufactured using 8mm overlap boards, 28 x 28mm framing, sheet material floor and roof sections and black sand felt for a weatherproof finish to the roof. Smooth planed finial and barge boards create an attractive finish. Where windows are included these are glazed with virtually unbreakable polycarbonate, which will not become yellow or brittle over time.

For maximum security these sheds feature hidden hinges on the doors, plate hasp and staple latch and the doors are braced with double 'Z' framing for added strength as well as security.

These sheds come with a 10 year guarantee, provided that the shed is isolated from ground contact and is regularly retreated with timber preservative.
