Available in two different lengths these Deep Root Planters from Forest Garden have been designed especially for long root crops. With a planting depth of 1'3½" they are ideal for a range of crops such as carrots or parsnips, but are equally suitable for raising salad crops, herbs etc. With an overall height of 2'8" you'll find these planters easier to work at, with less bending required as you weed and water your crops.

Manufactured from - long-life, pressure treated timber with a 15 year anti-rot warranty. The timber is FSC certified - this means the timber used comes from properly managed forests and controlled sources.

Available in two lengths, either - 3'4" / 100cm or 5'11" / 180cm
Width - 2'4" / 70cm
Height - 2'8" / 80cm
Planting depth - 1'3˝" / 39.2cm
Compost capacity - approximately 196 litres for the 3'4" long, 353 litres for 5'11" long.

Self-Assembly - these Deep Root Planters are provided flat packed for self-assembly. For ease of assembly the side and end panels are supplied part assembled - please see the instruction leaflet for full assembly details. Whilst fairly straightforward to build you will need a drill and a screwdriver as the holes are not pre-drilled.
