Hand Forks & Trowels

Garden Hand Forks and Garden Hand Trowels are good for working in small spaces, for example in window boxes or patio containers. They are good for breaking up the surface of compacted soil in confined spaces, as well as lifting small-scale plants, weeding - a Garden Fork lets you loosen the soil around the weeds so that you can remove all the roots - and preparing small areas of soil. Usually a Garden Fork will have three or four prongs, but you will also find some Garden Forks that have only two prongs and are narrow - often called Rockery Forks or Narrow Forks, these tools are the best in tight spots.
