Mealworm Crumble

Does Robin Think He’s Getting Desert??

robin at the allotment

Feeding birds in your garden couldn’t be more popular ... and the choice of food available is amazing!!

I went to my local garden centre today and saw something called ‘Mealworm Crumble’ which has been developed to provide garden birds with all the essential proteins they need ...
and is especially popular amongst the robins ...

Do you think they’ll want custard with that??

And if they do ...

do you think it will be Bird’s custard ... ha ha ha ha LOL

Ofph! Top punning! I salute you :-D

Have you got your robin to eat out of your hand like Carol Klien does with the one in her garden?

Hi Chuckles ... glad you're back ... I knew my poor puns would trigger you into conversation! And the robin in the picture was in our allotment last year where it used to eat from my brothers hand (images on flickr) ... I think watching Carol reminded me of the pics I'd got ...

Wow! And the mouse too! You truly are a friend to the little critters :)

And I've never been away, don't worry - read every post like the good Burro I am :)

Strangely enough ive had the pleasure of eating a mealworm myself - yes a real mealworm, fried and coated in chilli powder, wasn’t actually that bad surprisingly!

Maybe you could try it as your next exotic venture into the unknown, bit different to a dragon fruit but equally as scary looking??
