McBurro ... you’ve beaten me again ... but I’ll be back ... with a bigger and better joke than the last two (stop laughing ... I know that’s funnier than my actual jokes!).

Beaten? No. Merely complimented well :)

Q: What's a carpenter's favourite fruit?
A: Rasp berry

Q: How do you grow bigger feet?
A: Just pot a toe.

Gardener 1: "I popped round but you were out".
Gardener 2: "Yes, I soya bean"

And so on... Actually, these aren't so much jokes as bad puns. I'll get my coat.

Ahh ... but Allotmentbos don't you think bad puns are the best puns ... especially at the start of the week when the brains still kicking into gear?

Hi Mrs Nesbit
Thanks for calling by ... I came across your blog yesterday and admired the foxglove you were planning to buy (and then bought).
Whitby ... mmm ... I’ve always fancied a trip to Whitby as one of my colleagues Father summers in Whitby and raves about how great it is ... famous for Dracula I think?

Posted by: Greenhouse Girl at July 13, 2006 09:22 AM

Yes, Whitby is famous for Dracula!

If you ever fancy coming to Whitby give me a shout!
Whereabouts are you?

Dx

Hi Mrs Nesbitt
Wow ... got my local history right for once! I’m in the process of moving closer to Whitby ... Holme On Spalding Moor in fact ... which is very exciting ‘cause it means a new house garden ... Oooooo ... so I’m in the process of working out which plants I want to move with me!
