Our butterfly netting - or anti-butterfly netting - will reduce caterpillar damage to your crops. The net is fine enough to stop virtually all moths and butterflies - particularly cabbage whites - as well as deterring most insects. Light enough to lay directly over crops, it's great for covering seedlings, young plants and newly sown lawns. Butterfly netting can also be used to cover low frames, cages and cloches. When you are growing crops that need pollinating, you'll need to remove the butterfly netting during flowering to allow bees and other pollinating insects to do their work, or, alternatively, use our bird netting.
Strong and durable our butterfly netting is an extruded black polyethylene net that is both rot proof and UV stabilised. Available in two different widths, simply order the number of metres which you require - and don't forget to order ground pegs to hold the butterfly netting in place.
