The Aluminium tube as used in our Standard, Deluxe and Heavy Duty Fruit and Vegetable Cages.
Being aluminium, the tube is rot proof and can be cut to size using a hack saw. For our Standard and Deluxe frames the tube is ¾" (19mm) diameter and has a 1mm thick wall. The Deluxe Fruit & Vegetable Cage Aluminium Tube having a tough, green powder coated, gloss finish.
Whilst the tube used in our Heavy Duty frames is 1" (25mm) diameter and has a 1.6mm thick wall.
Also here you will find our Mini Aluminium tube - ideal for making plant stakes and supports, this mini aluminium tube is a direct replacement for traditional garden canes. Measuring ½" (12mm) in diameter and having a wall thickness of 0.8mm, this mini aluminium tube can be used with most cane support segments and caps.
