Sunflower seeds are a popular food for feeding birds in your garden, but birds will discard the husks onto your lawn or garden. To still provide birds with a high energy food but without the mess feed Sunflower Hearts instead. With no husks to discard yet packed full of goodness this bird food can be used in seed feeders, on your bird table or directly on the ground.
Attracts Blackbirds, Blue Tits, Chaffinches, Dunnocks, Great Tits, Greenfinches, Siskins, Thrushes and many other wild birds.
Available in bags of 1.8kg (4lb) and 3.6kg (8lb).
Did You Know? In the cold winter months, the Blue Tit can spend up to 85% of the day feeding just feeding to stay alive! By feeding Sunflower Hearts you’ll be saving birds the time they’d normally spend cracking open the hard sunflower husks so they will have even more time to spend feeding. Sunflower Hearts will also be eaten by those birds you’d not normally attract by feeding Sunflower Seeds. Birds which would normally struggle to open the husks of Sunflower Seeds – such as Blackbirds, Robins and Thrushes – will happily eat the Sunflower Hearts.
