This Professional Weed Burner lets you efficiently destroy large amounts of weeds in paths, drives and patios without having to the use a chemical weedkiller. It works efficiently as it produces a powerful flame that kills the weed without burning it. Weed burners work really well when you’ve got a large area to cover – so when you’ve got a large garden or are clearing an area at your allotment you’ll find a weed burner the best way to tackle weeds. Complete with a trolley to make it easy for you to move around.

The weed burner combines a 31½” (80cm) long plated steel directing rod with a 4½" (11cm) x 2½" (6cm) burner head. The directing rod is bent to enable you to move the flame around the base of the weeds – especially effective when dealing with larger weeds
The weed burner has a trigger action pilot light – this allows you to leave the pilot light running all the time you’re using the unit, simply squeezing the trigger to put the full flame in action. This prevents you having to constantly restart the burner when you’re moving from area to area – important when you’re covering a large area
Propane Gas Cylinder – you’ll need a propane gas cylinder (not supplied) to be able to use this weed burner. For intermittent use a 4kg cylinder will be sufficient. When you’re working over large areas we recommend you use either an 11 or 13kg propane cylinder. Gas consumption at 1.5bar will be 3791 grams per hour
To attach the gas cylinder to the weed burner a 6’7” (two metre) length of 6mm gas hose is supplied. To connect this to the gas regulator you’ll need a hose clip (available to purchase separately). You’ll also need a gas regulator (available separately) to connect to your propane gas cylinder to regulate the gas pressure
When using a large gas canister use the trolley supplied to easily move the cylinder around large gardens, farms or public areas. Manufactured from painted steel the trolley measures 20" (51cm) wide x 40"(100cm) high and includes a strap to securely hold the gas cylinder safely in place

How The Weed Burner Works
The weed burner is really efficient at destroying weeds as you don’t actually burn the weeds. Rather you move the weed burner slowly around the weeds, keeping about 2-4” (5-10cm) between the weeds and the burner.
In this way you’re actually heating the weeds so the cells of the weeds dry out, resulting in the weeds withering and dying in about two to three days.
