Top Tips … When Growing Herbs In Containers

Grow in a soil based compost – soil based composts tend to retain more moisture important when raising plants in containers

Water in a morning – so if it is hot and sunny your plants will be able to cope

Feed weekly – between March to September regularly feed the herbs so that they remain healthy as you continually raid them for fresh leaves!

Be creative – herbs can look good as well as taste good so include some herbs which will spill over the edge of containers like creeping rosemary as well as uprights like chives, oregano, parsley etc.
