This brand new Growpot System for potatoes has been developed to make it easy for anyone to grow their own potatoes, even if you’re limited for space. Just 15½” wide and 24½” tall this Growpot System can be placed on a patio, balcony, inside a polytunnel or greenhouse. It provides you with sufficient space to hold 4-5 tubers and has been designed to make it simple for you to provide the plants with sufficient water and feed as they grow. Once ready to harvest just remove the top collars to get at the potatoes below.

Each system consists of three circular collars and a base.
To use place the first collar on the base and add 1½” gravel for good drainage. On top of this add about 4” of compost, then equally space 4-5 tubers, shoots upwards. Top up with compost until just below the top of the collar. To moisten the compost fill the outer rim of the collar with water.
Keep the compost moist until you have shoots about 5” tall. Now click the second collar into place and add another 5” compost. Once shoots appear 5” above this level of compost top up the collar so it is full of compost. Repeat this until the third collar has been filled with compost.
For easy watering and feeding you can water into the outer rims of each collar – so ensuring that the right amount of water and feed gets to all the compost, resulting in healthy plants and high yields.
