TWO WEST'S GROW LIGHT GARDEN
IDEAL FOR ALL YEAR ROUND CROPS
The dark winter months with their low light levels are a frustrating time for gardeners keen to start growing plants for the year ahead. Although there is very little which can be sown or planted outside, the new Grow Light Garden featured in the Quality Equipment for Greenhouse and Garden Catalogue from Two Wests and Elliott allows seeds to be sown earlier and for the resulting young plants to grow more rapidly. While it is ideal for propagation of half-hardy flowers and vegetables, the Grow Light Garden can also be used for growing salad leaves, herbs and dwarf vegetables to maturity all year round, producing delicious, valuable and inexpensive out-of-season harvests.
The stylish and easy-to-assemble Grow Light Garden has been designed with home use in mind, offering a valuable replacement for natural light and ensuiring healthy plant growth. Fitted within its reflective canopy are two 23in long, 24 watt flourescent bulbs which produce full spectrum light, indiscernible to plants from sunlight. The bulbs together use less electricity than a standard light bulb and are guaranteed to last up to 10,000 hours. Electronic ballasts eliminate any annoying buzzing and ensure a 'no flicker' start-up.
The aluminium light canopy is height adjustable to 15in from the base and the unit comes complete with four seed trays which fit into its 24½in by 17½in watertight base. The Grow Light Garden comes with full assembly and operating instructions.
An optional self watering tray for convenience is offered as an optional extra, but a special offer price is given if both items are bought together. The tray fits inside the base where the large capacity water reservoir holds enough water to keep plants supplied by capillary action for up to two weeks.
